Lars Rengersen

Strategic director

Lars Rengersen

His background is a master of Industrial Engineering and Management at the University of Twente. Lars is a genuine creator innovator. Often he operates in the field of business processes with a strong focus on people. Experience design in his view provides new and inspiring possibilities in terms of developing new markets and ways of working.

Marco van Hout

Creative director

Marco van Hout

Marco holds a Master degree in Communication Sciences, and graduated with a thesis on the emotional experience of (interactive) products. At SusaGroup Marco connects, talks, inspires and initiates innovative concepts. Marco is board member of the International Design for Emotion Society and is initiator/ editor of the website “design & emotion“.

Bas Jansen

Web innovation specialist

Bas Jansen

Using the latest innovations in web technology, Bas helps SusaGroup create a set of unique and intuitive tools. He holds a masters degree in Electrical Engineering and has a down-to-earth view on how web applications should work.

dr. Pieter Desmet

Research advisor

dr. Pieter Desmet

Pieter is Associate Professor at the Department of Industrial Design of Delft University of Technology. He has a background in design, and in 2002 he obtained a PhD degree with research focused on emotional product experience. His research has been published in major international journals and presented at international platforms.

Pieter is co-founder and board member of the International Design for Emotion Society, and at SusaGroup he is research advisor on why and how consumer products evoke emotion, and in the development of tools and methods that facilitate emotion-driven design.

Peter Lambooij

Peter Lambooij

With a background in finance, communication and commercial concepting Peter worked intensively on large-scale SME innovation projects over the past years. His vision on creating meaningful experiences is to create social relevance within aspects of business. Within SusaGroup Peter works together with the management to devise, implement and deliver innovative products and procurement strategies.

Gijs Huisman

Researcher

Gijs Huisman

Gijs is currently finishing his Master in Communication Sciences at the University of Twente, where he is specializing in new media research and user experiences. At SusaGroup he is working on the development of the LEMtool, a tool to measure emotional experience during interaction with websites or interactive products (with a UI).

David Güiza Caicedo

Internship project - CapturEmo

David Güiza Caicedo

David has finished his Masters in industrial/interaction design at Delft University of Technology with an internship at SusaGroup. His project covered the development of a tool to measure emotions of customers in the field of experiential services design. Furthermore he contributed to the development of LEMtool with his GUI knowledge and skills. You can find him at Bluehaired.com and at Van Berlo Strategy & Design.
He is currently active for SusaGroup on various new developments such as PanorEmo.

Pascalle Karthaus

Internship project - Snapje

Pascalle Karthaus

Pascalle graduated on her master ‘Design for Interaction’ at Delft University of Technology. Her graduation project was a combined project for Susagroup and ID-Studiolab. Goal was to design a tool or game for children with autism helping them to understand and perceive emotions correctly, which resulted in Snapje. Explorative research combined with design that fits the user is her expertise. You can find Pascalle at Unitid.
