Bureau of Market Research of the University of South Africa led by professor Pierre Joubert is running several interesting research projects.
SusaGroup works together with the University of South Africa in using PrEmo to measure the emotional experience. Prof. Joubert mentioned:
PrEmo is particularly effective in a culturally diverse population such as South Africa. It was apparent that the same stimulus elicited very different emotive reactions which would not have been obvious from more cognitive verbal rating scales. Participants furthermore enjoyed the experience which captivated their attention span over a longer period.
