Composing an experiment

After adding an experiment, the toolbox is asking you to perform some easy steps to put together the study. The first step is adding (uploading) stimuli.

Edit simuli

First you add some stimuli, both the ones to be used as an exercise and the experiment itself. Only three thing to do:

  • Just give it a name (optionally shown to respondent later on)
  • Browse for a file on you PC
  • Optionally change the standard instruction

Adding pages

The pages will determine the flow and process of your experiment.
In the pages section you can choose to include the PrEmo explanation, the exercise, text pages and of course the PrEmo assessment itselves, just in one click.

Furthermore, you will be able to preview the experiment or specific pages.

The stimuli are of course the core of your study. Within the page type 'PrEmo assessment' you will be able to control this in detail.

You will be able to:

  • Choose stimuli to be used from available stimuli
  • Drag and drop the order of the stimuli
  • Or decide to use the random function
  • Choose to show the picture or not
  • Choose to display the stimuli name or not
  • First show an overview of all stimuli
